  11.         and Rules for callers posting in PCBNet Conferences.

  17. 1) There will be ABSOLUTELY NO FLAMING IN ANY PART OF THE PCBNET NETWORK.
  18.    If you flame ANYBODY, for ANY reason, you will be permanently banned from
  19.    PCBNet.

  21. 2) Aliases are strictly prohibited.
  22.  
  23. 3) Please use quoting whenever possible, it helps others remember previous
  24.    discussions, however; please keep quoting down to enough lines to remind
  25.    the receiver what the original post was about.

  27. 5) Signature lines are to be no more that four (4) lines.

  30. SYSOPS: Read these rules carefully. There is not a whole lot to remember but 
  31.         but what is here, is expected to be adhered to.

  34. 1) Taglines - Your node must have a tagline that follows this format:
  35.  
  36.      PCBNet : <Your BBS Name> : <Optional> : Your Node Number
  37.  
  38. 2) Suspensions : If a moderator suspends a user on your system, it is up to you
  39.                  to enforce the suspension. Failure to comply will result in a
  40.          disruption of your feed until you notify your hub that 
  41.          necessary action has been taken.
  42.  
  43.        ** Notice of all user Suspensions are to be forwarded to the offending
  44.       node's Net Coordinator IMMEDIATELY. **
  45.  
  46. 3) PCBNet Admin & PCBNet News - Must be carried by all nodes and all hubs. 
  47.    All other echos are carried at the discretion of the node sysop.
  48.  
  49.      i. After you are activated in PCBNet, you have 48 hours to post a message
  50.      in PCBNet admin to announce your BBS. After 48 hours, if there has not
  51.     been a post in Admin, your system will be deactivated. You may make
  52.     arrangements with your HUB to re-activate your feed.
  53.  
  54.     ii. PCBNet news shall be a read-only echo.  Posts in PCBNet news shall be
  55.     made by the Network Administrator ONLY.
  56.  
  57.    iii. PCBNet admin is open to all PCBNet member sysops ONLY!
  58.  
  59. 4) Net Coordinators are completely responsible for nodes in their net.
  60.    NC's may approve node applications so long as that application is received
  61.    by the Regional Coordinator and Network Administrator with 72 hours. NC
  62.    approved access is temporary and is contingent upon final approval from
  63.    the Regional Coordinator. 
  64.    (Usually within 48hrs.)
  65.  
  66. 5) Any applications to become a moderator must be forwarded to the Regional 
  67.    Coordinator. Just a message with the applicants name, 
  68.    conference desired, and their age. RC's must forward approved applications
  69.    for moderator to the Network Administrator immediatly after approval.

  71. 6) These rules may be changed at any time for any reason.

  73. 7) Node SysOps are STRONGLY encouraged to post messages regularly.
